Kiss Me Tonight by Maria Luis * SOME SPOILERS*

AHHH! What can I say about this book that isn’t good! From the start I could tell it would be a great read. I was pulled into Dominic and Aspen’s story from the get go. There were funny moments, as well as sad ones, but most of all there were lessons to be learned.

Dominic is a guy who has suffered a lot and has been extremely lonely throughout his life, all he knows is how to survive on his own without giving anything else a thought. Growing up for Dominic has never been easy, bouncing from one foster home to another, he finds himself making a lot of mistakes as a child/teen but, football is the one thing that drives him to be better; that one passion that taught him the discipline he was lacking. Then he meets Aspen a.k.a Levi, and she changed all of that, what starts as a spark of attraction between the two evolves into love.

Aspen is a woman who left all her football dreams behind when she found she was pregnant, she got married to Rick “The Prick” Clark to give her son Topher the best home he could have. Aspen decides to leave her husband after 14 years of marriage, fed up with being cheated on, she leaves to begin a new life in the town of London, Maine and coach football for the high school she attended. What I loved about Aspen’s part of the story is… this type of situation she finds herself in, any woman today can find herself in her shoes. Many women that marry someone who has money can be taken advantage of, used, and treated as if she were nothing like Aspen was. Sometimes it doesn’t even take money for men to take advantage of us. Her story was so touching because even though she was not physically abused, she was mentally and verbally abused by her husband. What is even more aspairing is she took that leap and left to continue a better life with her son Topher.

I also loved the fact that she had so much love for the football sport and she was able to coach in high school, maybe it wasn’t her ultimate dream, but it is a great accomplishment in my opinion. Loved this story 100%  I would read it again, I love the funny moments between Dominic and Aspen. 5 stars worthy!
